Week 22- Program B/ Final competition day/AGM
Our final competition day for the summer season will be halted part way through for the Annual General Meeting to be held in the clubrooms. We will pause all events on track and field and the adults are asked to attend the AGM in the clubrooms at 10am. Athletes are to remain out on field, supervised by selected coach’s and committee. Once the AGM is completed, track & field events will resume. It is our intention to hold the AGM as fast as possible. If you have a nomination for the Committee, please hand in this nomination via email (cranbourne@lavic.com.au) prior to Saturday or in person to Nina on Saturday prior to 9.30am.
**Under 8 BOYS (only) will begin their High Jump event at 8am (as per email sent) to help with the efficiency of the program.
Parent Duty Roster allocations: Set Up- U11’s (Please arrive by 7am to help set up the track/field. Please see Brendan- Grounds & Equipment) Canteen- U8 GIRLS (Please report to the Canteen Manager Kim at 8.30am) BBQ- U8 BOYS (Please report to the Canteen Manager Kim at 8.30am) Pack Up- U7’s (Please report to Brendan (Grounds & Equipment) who will direct you to what needs to be packed up). Starters: Hurdles- Mark J 70m & 100m- Andrew C Walks- Meagan B 1500m- Bec P
Parent duties are essential to the running of the day, so please help out in your allocated areas. It also helps you accrue your Parent Points for the end of season award/trophy eligibility. Please see Committee Members if you have any questions.
Don’t forget the Cross Country XC (winter) season will begin 27th April- events for XC are loaded on FB and Team App. Please chat with Scott Culpin or James Perkins (XC Team Managers) for further information.
A collection tin will be at the canteen for anyone wishing to support Joshua Sullivan’s (U13B). Josh has been selected to represent Team Victoria at the Little Athletics National level in Tasmania in April.
