Parent duties are essential to the running of the day, so please help out in your allocated areas. It also helps you accrue your Parent Points for the end of season award/trophy eligibility.
We are calling on a few parents/grandparents to assist with being a starter during the season.
Starters:
(Coach) Mark J will be conducting a course this Saturday 19th January at 8.30am (once events begin) for being a track Starter. Mark will discuss Centre level requirements for the role with you and you will be actively doing practice starts for the hurdles events running as a part of the program this week. Ideally, the club would love to have at least five more starters so that we can have a roster of people over the program for rest of the season. Currently, we only have three starters and it is not enough. Parent points for starters are 5 points per day, so a quick and easy way to make up your required 30 parent points! If this is something you think you are keen and available to do, please head onto the track to learn the ropes with Mark this Saturday.
Please see Committee Members if you have any questions.
