Parent duties are essential to the running of the day, so please help out in your allocated areas. It also helps you accrue your Parent Points for the end of season award/trophy eligibility.
Please support us in the end of year/Christmas raffle by taking a booklet of raffle tickets (10 tickets in a book) to sell (3 tickets for $10 or 5 tickets for $15). Committee will be distributing these throughout the morning. All raffle tickets (sold or unsold) need to be returned by 14th December 6.30pm. Thank you in advance fro this assistance in selling your booklet!
As a part of club policy, you are required to be on site at each of the competition (& training) days. Our sport is not a ‘drop & run’ sport, meaning that a parent/guardian must stay the duration of the meet. Any athlete who is known to not have a parent/guardian present will NOT be allowed to compete- this is a safety concern which is stated in your Handbook (Page 10) under Parent Supervision.
Personal Best (PB’s) Medals- a new concept we are starting this season to encourage and reward athletes on their 10, 20 & 30 PB’s achieved in the current season. Athletes who have achieved this number of PB’s will be awarded a medal and certificate. The club will announce at the start of each month (starting this Saturday 1/12) the athletes who have achieved their level of PB’s and ask those athletes to come up to the clubrooms to receive their award.
Please see Committee Members if you have any questions.
